Course description
This course is aimed at software developers and data scientists who want to learn the fundamentals of quantum algorithms in quantum computing. The course assumes no prior knowledge of quantum physics, but progresses rapidly and provides a thorough grounding in the mathematical theory required for understanding quantum computing.
The course has a strong emphasis on practical work, with programming exercises interleaved with presentation modules throughout (see Course Outline). The exercises consist of Python programming examples based on the IBM Qiskit SDK platform and packaged in Jupyter notebook format.
